Born in F.A.year 370, East of the mountains in Eriador. Dead of age eighty years old in F.A.450.

F.A. 400. Bëor and his people met Finrod at the foothills of Ered Luin and at the counsel of Finrod they moved to the land of Amrod and Amras; brothers of Finrod, in West Beleriand and named the land Estolad. Between Bëor and Finrod grew a great friendship
F.A.415 - 420. Between these years went Bëor went with Finrod and moved to Nargothrond. When Bëor left for Nargothrond into the service of Finrod he committed the rule of his people to his oldest son Baran.
Bëor was for 50 years in service of Finrod Felagund. He received the name Bëor from the people of Finrod which signified "Vassal" in the tongue of the Men, but before he was named Balan by his own people.
F.A.402. This year tried the Orcs to go through the Pass of Aglon but Angrod and Aegnor and the people of Bëor helped Maedhros and Maglor and they drew them back. This was the first time when Men draw sword on behalf of the Eldar.
