Lady of the Westland.

Tar-Elastirne. ( Lady of the Star-brow.)

Daughter of Beregar descendant from the female line of Bëor ( First House ) and Nuneth.

Mother to Tar-Ancalimë.

Born in Númenor in S.A.year 771. Died in S.A.985 where she surrendered herself to Lady Uinen by throwing herself into the sea in the Haven of Rómenna.

Erendis was the daughter of Beregar who were a descendant from the female line of Bëor. Erendis had dark-hair, grey eyes and was of slender grace. She was in her youth also known as the Lady of the Westland since she came from the West-areas of Númenor.

S.A.858. Erendis was betrothed to Aldarion ( Tar-Aldarion ) After her betrothal to Aldarion when she began to wear a diamond in a silver fillet on her forehead ( The Jewel was a gift from Aldarion ) she became known as Tar-Elastirne; The Lady of the Star-brow. By doing this Erendis instituted the manner of the later Kings and Queens to wear, as a star, a white jewel upon their brow.

S.A.870. Wedded to Aldarion. It was a great wedding and even from Tol-Eressëa came the Eldar with ships ladden with flowers.

S.A.873. This year was Ancalimë, their daughter, born.

S.A.882. Aldarion proclaimed he had no wife but only a heir and we may call them divorced.
