S.A.725. As Anardil came to Full Age this year Vëantur, his mothers father, took him upon a journey in his ship Númerrámar to Middle-earth. This was the first of many voyages of Anardil in Númerráma.
S.A.725-750. Five voyages with Númerrámar between these years.
S.A.750. Anardil founded the Guild of Ventures; the Uinendili in 750 in the haven of Rómenna where he build several vessels one greater than the other. Known names of ships builded by Anardil are : Eämbar who became the main seat for the Ventures Guild, Palarran the Far-Wanderer, Hirilondë the Haven-Finder who some called Turuphanto, the Wooden Whale.
Anardil was, as both a young man and king, enamored of the sea and of voyages and to this purpose was demanded timber, more than Númenor naturally could provide so he began to furnish trees in Númenor and it came into his mind that he would find timber in Middle-earth. He looked for a place there for a haven to repair his ships and on his voyages he looked with wonder upon the green and great forests ( Southern Forest ) and upon the coasts.
S.A.800. Anardil was proclaimed King`s Heir this year by his father.
S.A.813 - 818. On one of his journeys to Middle-earth he founded the harbor Vinyalondë "New Haven" or Lond Daer at the mouth of the Greyflood and in the years between the S.A.813 - 818 he had many men building upon this haven. His great works at Lond Daer was never finally completed by him but by Tar-Minastir.
S.A.829-843. Between these years Anardil was on his fourteen years long journey and his home in Númenor, the vessel Eämbar, was confiscated by the King and moved to the western haven of Andúnië and the Guildhouse of the Ventures was shut.

S.A.857. The light tower Calmindon was finished this year.

S.A. 871. The wedding between Anardil and Erendis. It was a great wedding and even from Tol Eressëa came the Eldar with ships ladden with flowers.
S.A. 873. The daughter of Anardil and Erendis, Ancalimë was born. Anardil began to build his greatest vessel Hirilondë and the people of Númenor began to name him by the name Aldarion due to his great planting of trees and foresting.
S.A.877. Late this year Aldarion took on one of his journeys to Middle-earth.
S.A.882. When Anardil returned this year his wife had moved with his daughter from Armenelos to Emerië in the middle of Númenor, cold was his welcome and Ancalimë could not recognize him again. The long dispute between Aldarion and Erendis about his journeys had now broken their love and in this year, S.A.882, Aldarion proclaimed that he had no wife but an heir, and by his will his father ordered Erendis to see to that Ancalimë came to Armenelos. It is known that Aldarion while he was visiting Middle-earth and Gil-galad in Lindon he taught Gil-galad the tongue of Númenor ( So tells Gil-galad in his letter to Meneldur where he asked for help against Sauron S.A.882 ) This letter also caused Meneldur to resign the Scepter and leave the office to his son. Aldarion never came into battle aside Gil-galad as far is known, no further documents tells about the case but instead it is told that it was Tar-Minastir who sent the fleet to aid Gil-galad. Yet to every-ones surprise Aldarion determined, as soon as he became King and ruler, to leave Númenor and visit Middle-Earth at once
S.A.882-883. Anardil sailed Hirilondë once again to Middle-earth. There are no records now left for his later voyages for Middle-Earth but it is known from other sources that he met Galadriel once in Tharbad. In his abcence Hallatan was appointed regent and for the next 18 years was Aldarion never much in Númenor.
S.A. 883 - 1075. He was pronounced King and Father of Númenor from 883 -1075.
S.A.1075. Aldarion passed the scepter to his daughter Ancalimë.
