Aldor was not heir of Isildur. No descendants of Isildur is to be found in Rhudaur and Malvegils renewed claim from Fornost of the overlordship of all the lands of Arnor is rejected. Power is seized by men in secret league with Angmar and Aldor came to the throne. When Aldor was King of Rhudaur the son of Malvegil; Argeleb I., renewed the claim of all the former lands of Arnor but Aldor rejected this and Argeleb I. fortified the Weather Hills.
