Second son of three of Bór the Swarthy Chieftain.

Brother to Borlad ( Borlas ) and Borthand ( Borthandos )

No records of a wife.

Died childless.

F.A.463. Boromir came over Ered Luin with his father and brothers into Lothlann in this year.. Boromir, his father and brothers swore allegiance to Maedhros and was granted land to dwell in North and South of the March of Maedhros.

F.A.468. This year began Maedhros the Union of Maedhros; it seemed for many that Morgoth was not unconquerable because of the deeds of Beren and Luthien. Maedhros gathered all his brethren and all the folk that would follow them. Fingon his friend prepared for war, the people of Brethil whetted their axes and also Turgon in hidden Gondolin in secret prepared for battle.

F.A.472. At midsummer was all ready and the army of the Union arrayed in the East and West. Fingons army was stationed in the hills of Ered Wethrin from Eithel Sirion to the Fen of Serech and Turgons host held the Passes of Sirion while Maedhros and his brothers, the Dwarves and Ulfang and Bór with their sons and men was in the East. But treachery among the Eastern men lead by Ulfang prevented the victory of the Elves. Bór and his sons proved faithful to the Eldar for Bór and his sons slew the sons of Ulfang; Ulwarth and Ulfast before they themselves were slain.
