Elendur

In "Heirs of Elendil" named Kiryandil.

Oldest son of Isildur.

Born in Númenor in S.A.year 3299. Died in the Disaster of Gladden Fields T.A.year 2.

Brother to Aratan, Ciryon and Valandil.

2 Age.

S.A.3319. At the Downfall of Númenor Elendur with his father and grandfather Elendil, were blown towards Middle-Earth and landed at Lindon in the Gulf of Lhun. Here they were received by Gil-Galad and Cirdan.

S.A.3320. This year Elendur with his father Isildur and uncle, Anarion, landed in the South of Middle-Earth at the Mouth of Anduin where was founded the Kingdom of Gondor.

S.A.3429. This year had Sauron assailed Gondor and taken Minas Ithil and while Anarion were defending Osgiliath. Isildur with his sons escapes to Lindon and Arnor. The Last Alliance is formed

S.A.3430. The host of Lindon and Arnor marches to Imladris where they for the next three years are preparing for the coming war.

S.A.3434. Elendur and the host under command of Gil-Galad cross Hithaeglir and walks towards Dagorlad, gathering forces along the way. Elendur fought and accompanied Isildur throughout the war of the Last Alliance, save the last challenge upon Orodruin. ( Ut )

3 Age.

T.A.2. Elendur was the Kings heir and was very dear to him. He had his fathers full confidence and knew Isildur had the One Ring on their way to Imladris. Elendur was slain in the Disaster of Gladden Fields.
