Brother to Elendur, Aratan and Ciryon.

Father to Eldacar.

Valandil were the only son of Isildur who did not die at the disaster of Gladden Fields because he was newborn and with his mother in Imladris.

S.A.2. To him was brought the shards of his fathers sword Narsil by Othar.
