The hammer of Morgoth.

Not much is said of the hammer of Morgoth save from the fight with Fingolfin But from the account of the fight it may be assumed Grond was a rather huge hammer in likening as one of his forges though Morgoth wielded it as a mace. It was able to make pits in the ground which Morgoth's black blood filled. Whenever Morgoth swung it it came down like a bolt of thunder and it rented a mighty pit whence smoke and fire darted.

What became of it when Morgoth was captured and thrusted through the Doors of Night into the Void is not told.
