The Silver Lamp of Aulë.

Illuin was made by the request of Yavanna and filled with hallowed fire by Varda.

It was placed in the north upon the tower Helkar which, according to the first conception, was made by Melkor. That Melkor made the towers was soon to be abandoned.

Valian Years.

V.Y.1500-1900.The lamp was created in the Days before Days in these years

V.Y.1900. It was placed upon the northern tower Helcar.

V.Y.3450. Destroyed and overthrown by Melkor in the War of Shaping Arda.
