Fui

Established in the Valian Years 3450-3500.

Existed in the Valian Years and Valian Years of the Trees, First age and Second age. Was moved outside the world in the end of the Second age due to the downfall of Númenor.

In the vast caverns beneath the plains of Valinor had both Mandos and his sister Nienna their abode but Fui was the name Nienna had given hers. The halls of Nienna was wider and darker than her brothers and there she sat in her black chair with a brazier with a single flickering coal before her. The roof was of bats wings and the pillars that upheld it and the walls were made of basalt and here she would gather the souls of Men before they were sent to their final doom and sailed away aboard Mournië.
