Halls of Mandos

Established in the Valian Years 3450-3500.

Existed in the Valian Years and Valian Years of the Trees, First age and Second age. Was moved outside the world in the end of the Second age due to the downfall of Númenor.

The Halls of Mandos and his sister Nienna was delved by Aulë, with the aid of Mandos` and Nienna`s shadowy folk, north of Valmar beneath the most cold and northerly regions of the mountains of Valinor. Both Mandos and Nienna lives here though they are not sitting in the same hall. Mandos named his hall Vê and Nienna named hers Fui. Very vast where those caverns of Mandos and Nienna, they stretched even down under the Shadowy Seas, and they are full of gloom and filled with echoes.
