The city of the Valar upon the plain Valinor in Aman, fulwrought in V.Y.3500. Valmar the Blessed was build in the midst of the plains beyond the Pelòri mountain, and before its Western gate; the Golden Gate, was the green mound called Ezellohar where the two Trees Telperion and Laurelin grew.
