The vasted land West of Ered Lomin at the Northern shores of Firth of Drengist. From Helcaraxe in North to Losgar in South 200 Miles and from Ered Lomin to the shores 50 Miles. From the mountains 65 Miles north of Cirith Ninniach and Losgar ran a single unnamed river towards Belegaer. The name of the land come of the terrible cry Morgoth gave when Ungoliant rose against him. that cry shooked the mountains and the earth trembled and echoed in the Mountains and the echo dwelt there ever after. When Fëanor and the Noldor arrived there cries and the sound of the burning of the white ships were taken into the mountains and multiplied and a clamour of countless voices filled the land.
