Dark Tower.

The tower and fortress of Sauron. It was lying in Mordor at the Plateau of Gorgoroth at the western end 20 miles east of Orodruin at an west-out-trusted arm of Ered Lithui into the plateau. The tower had been build twice. First time was in Second age around year 1000 where Sauron afraid of the strength of the Númenorians decided to make his stronghold in Mordor. How long time it took to build is not stated but it was full-wrought in the time of Tar-Minastir King of Númenor S.A. 1474 - 1873. This tower was teared down after the Battle of the last Alliance though the alliance did not utterly destroy the root of it. When Sauron returned to Mordor in Third age 2942 he in 2951 begins to rebuild it. The tower were finally destroyed in Third age March the 25 year 3019.
