Ethir Anduin.
Translated : Outflow of Anduin.
The great delta of Anduin into the Bay of Belfalas.
Along the Ethir were hardy fishermen making a living and it is also known that at least one of the Gondorian kings had a house in the area. King Tarannon of Gondor had let a house build "upon arches whose feet stood deep in the wide waters of Ethir Anduin" for his queen Berúthiel. Furthermore it is told that even the mouth of Anduin is still far away there is salt in the air and that at Pelargir Anduin is so great and wide that almost it seems like a slow-flowing sea, and countless birds are on its shore.
