Throllshaws.

Throllshaws were placed in the forest at the North side of the Great East Road in Southern Rhudaur in T.A. It was here Bilbo, the Dwarves and Gandalf met Bert, Tom and William in the story There and Back Again / The Hobbit. The Western area was cut through from North to South by a high ridge with the edge broken into many bare points like teeth of a saw. lower it was stony ground with large rocks but overgrown. furthest down the forest was dark and old, encumbered with fallen trees, twisted roots and tumbled rocks.
