Twillight meres.

Existed in the Valian Years and of the Trees and in the First age. Vanished in the end of the First age and in the War of Wrath when Beleriand and the Lands to the North disappeared in the floods and havoc created by the war.

Where Aros joined Sirion above the Wall of Andram the water of Sirion was stayed because of the flat land and it flowed in great pools and streams in many channels and marshes where made on either side of the river. Mist and fog lay over that land for the spell of Melian guarded the land. 20 miles stretched the marches north to south.
