Valinor.

The plain in Aman where the Valar made there city Valmar in V.Y.3450-3500. A new dwelling and bulwark against evil the Valar would make, and they came over Avathar and saw a wide open space, reaching for unknown leagues even to the Outer Seas. There was a place well suited to great buildings deemed Aulë. The Valar and their folks gathered the most mighty rocks and stones from Avathar and reared huge mountains, the Pelòri, between it and the plain they named Valinor; the lands of the Gods. Aulë laboured seven ages at Manwë`s bidding in piling of Taniquatil. In Valinor, the guarded realm, behind the Pelòri mountains the Valar gathered great stores of light and all the fairest things they could save from the ruin caused by the destruction of Ormal and Illuin and many others fair things they made anew and Valinor became more beuatyful even than Middle-Earth before the destruction for the Valar dvelt there and nothing faded or withered, took sickness or was corruptet for the the land was holy and blessed.
