The hill of Himring. Behind the March of Maedhros lay the hills of Himring in the land Himlad ( F.A. + S.A.) and there among many lesser hills was the Hill of Himring; the Ever-cold. It was a bare hill without any trees and flat upon its summit. upon that hill was the citadel of Maedhros. From the hills of Himring flowed Little Gelion and river Celon. At the Westside of the hills of Himring was the Pass of Aglon. After the War of Wrath and the drowning of Beleriand and the Central Highlands the Hill of Himring was still standing above the water of Belegaer about 75 Miles West of Forlindon and was called Himling.
