Mount Mindolluin.

The last peak of Ered Nimrais in the east, with its tall face covered in white and the the deep glens in purple shadow. Upon the eastern knee of Mindolluin was built Minas Tirith, to the north deep below is the Grey-Wood and the Stonewain Valley. To the south are the plains of Lossernach and river Erui and to the west the massive of Ered Nimrais.

T.A.3019. Gandalf and Aragorn II, now King Ellesar, finds the sapling of the White Tree in a hollow well hidden upon the knee of the mountain.
