Weather Hills.

The Weather Hills was lying in Eriador between the North Downs and the Great East Road to Rivendell. South-West was the Midgewater Marshes, South Amun-Sul ( Weathertop ) and Bree. From the South-East end to the North-West end was about 75 Miles and from North-East to South-West about 30 Miles.. In the days of the realms of Arthedain, Cardolan and Rhudaur the Weather hills were lying on the borderline between Arthedain and Rhudaur. During the days of Argeleb I. ( T.A.1349-1356 ) claimed the King again the Lordship of all the former Arnor but this was rejected by Rhudaur who`s King ( Aldor 1307-1347 ) was in secret alliance with Angmar and then Argeleb fortified the Weather Hills. ( See also Amun-Sul.) The tales do not tell whether Cardolan agreed to the claim or not.
